Eskimo Girl

I went to my LStS (Local Stamp Store), and found these GREAT Alaska stamps! There were two sets- one with 3 or 4 Eskimo girls and a few little stamps, and one set that had lots of fireweed and Forget-Me-Not stamps. Love them BOTH, but each set was $75!! I asked the lady working about it, and she said someone who works there has a future DIL who is a graphic designer and artist, and she requested her to draw specific Alaska themed art, and they had them made into stamps. I think this store (Stamp Attic in Anchorage, AK) is the only place in the world you can get them! Well, lucky for me they also sold many of them individually, so for $10.75 (which, after selling TAC, is WAY above what I pay for stamps), I had to buy her. Isn't she cute?
So I stamped her 6 times and used my Twinkling H2Os to color her in. Then I decided to make some cards.

Supplies: Eskimo girl by Stamp Attic Alaska, Blessings is a limited edition stamp from The Angel Company, paper is DCWV, gray Tombow pen, Marvy gel pen in Violet (flowers) covered in Stickles glitter glue (for this challenge), Versamark: Perfect Plumeria ink, Ribbon is retired TAC, white paper is TAC ultrasmooth cardstock, Twinkling H2Os: Meridian Blue, Hunter gray, Warm Pecan, Baby's Breath, Bougainvillea, Mallard Green. Card below: this sketch challenge, same supplies, with rubons by Making Memories, and pattern paper either by My Mind's Eye or Wild Asparagus- from the Costco pack. (it's not labelled once you open the pack).
I have a quick story about this one. You know us papercrafters have to be a little "crafty" sometimes! I ran out of e's in my pack of Making Memories rubons (see, this is why I prefer to stamp! YOu never run out!) so anyway, the E above, is really a capital Q!!! I just trimmed off part of the circle and the excess on the outside of the Q, and applied it as a lowercase E! LOL You can't even tell, can you?
