I'm taking two scrapbooking classes at once and I'm not keeping up with either of them- so I don't have any new scrapbook pages to show you (or templates to give you), so I'm stealing an idea from the wonderful Cathy Zielske and showing you "a day in the life of the Hurt family." It turns out to be more "Mid-Octoberish for the Hurt Family," but here goes... ;)
2003

Aaah, my babies. Austin was born a month before this photo. This sure does bring back memories- of my babies, of our little cottage in a little town in England. See the plastic drawers behind them? That was all the scrapbook supplies I needed back then. Once we moved here to Alaska, I had a whole room, and then a half a room to clutter up with supplies. Now I still have a half a room cluttered with paper scrapbooking supplies, but I only touch the stuff that's on my laptop in the living room. It's the circle of scrapbooking!
2004
Mmmmmm.. That's my hubby. He was spending a LOT of time in the gym at the time. Nice. :)2005
Austin in his 2 hat phase. Anything to get a laugh. ;) I made that scarf. Dora or Diego is probably on the TV, and he has outgrown most of those toys.2006
Ha! This one makes me laugh! Brett played tackle football for 2 years. He's my timid one. Austin, however, is the one that SHOULD have been playing tackle football. He was out there with the big kids, running laps and doing "Up downs" in the mud.2007
I didn't have any family photos for mid October 2007- but I did make a pumpkin cake for a PEO meeting. It was GOOD. Especially the icing!2008
Austin loves playing a little dots game on my Mac. I'll tell ya, these kids are going to see some magnificant technology in their lifetimes, aren't they?!2009
I don't have a photo for you for 2009. The last photo I took was Oct 2nd. I may have mentioned that my dSLR is still broken and I'm so sad about that. But I got my first paycheck today for my new job- so I'm going straight to the camera store when the check clears!! I'm getting that thing fixed, because I feel like I've lost part of myself.
I will hopefully have some layouts to share soon!

GREAT pcitures Nicky! Inspires me to do this too! But alas, I'm not a very good photographer... but learning :)
