(one day late)
I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was just our little family this year. It was peaceful and calm. Art smoked a turkey and made a Chess Pie. I made the rest. Art even commented on how well executed the meal was- like we're finally working the kinks out. :) I wonder if it took June Cleaver 15 years to get Thanksgiving just right?!
Do you ever stop and think about being thankful? I do sometimes. As a scrapbooker, I stop and feel thankful quite often- more often that most people, I would assume. I'm thankful for the little things in life. For the little moments. For the chores. Okay, not the chores. But you get my drift? If I didn't care and appreciate the little things in life, I wouldn't scrapbook them. I am aware how lucky I am and I acknowledge it. Don't you?
